Promoting the inclusion and wellbeing of young people
Committed to social inclusion
The project focuses on organising songwriting and music therapy workshops that combine therapeutic and educational approaches, offering a space where music becomes a concrete tool for care and personal growth. An original methodology makes it a benchmark in promoting psychological wellbeing through music.
MusicoTeraPOP offers young people in vulnerable situations tools for self-knowledge and personal expression through pop music and music therapy, encouraging listening and valuing their experiences. Thanks to an innovative approach, the project contributes to improving psychological health and promoting social inclusion, in an environment perceived as safe, welcoming and creative.

Foundational research and building the methodology
The MusicoTeraPOP methodology stems from joint research on scientific literature and the real needs of vulnerable young people and practitioners, and has been tested and systematised in an operational handbook.
Testing the methodology
The MusicoTeraPOP methodology is tested in transnational and national seminars and pilot courses with professionals and diverse groups of young people, gathering feedback to improve it and make it applicable in different European contexts.
Defining the methodology through feedback
The MusicoTeraPOP methodology emerges from the direct feedback of the young people taking part in the pilot groups and workshops, who have tested its effectiveness in real contexts. This active listening has made it possible to refine the songwriting and music therapy tools, bringing them closer to the real needs of empowerment and inclusion.
Producing the handbook
The handbook is a manual that integrates innovative methodologies of songwriting, music therapy and emotional education, developed by the project partners to promote the empowerment and social inclusion of young people. It gathers practices developed in the various workshops carried out, fostering resilience and wellbeing through pop music and creative activities. It is particularly useful for educators and facilitators in non-formal education programmes.
